• Secured Filesystem SPL has developed a special secured filesystem for storing the content. The underlying algorithm is AES 256.
• Proprietary Codec A very specialized and application specific proprietary codec adds to making the system futuristic and resource friendly. Our proprietary codec performs much better in terms of compression efficiency with insignificant increase in complexity, as compare to other popular codec.
• Content Encryption The encoded content is encrypted before storage on the physical disk. The encryption algorithm used is RIJNDAEL which is recognized as a very powerful encryption tool and is also in use by US Defense for their communication needs.
• Tightly Integrated Session Management Session Management is vital for any digital multimedia content distribution. We have a very tightly integrated session management system in place.
• Payload on-the-fly Encryption The payload is encrypted on the fly before it is put on the network for the desired STB or for a multicast group. This decryption key is passed to the desired STB through appropriate SDP (Session Description Protocol).
• Dynamically Changing Keys in SDP And SDP key decryption over SSL The SDP key is encrypted using another key which is transferred to the STB over a secure SSL connection.
