TV channel on broadband IP launched
CTBUZZ is the first Broadband Channel in India to be delivered over IP
MUMBAI: Ctbuzz, a project of US-based TV Asia, under the banner of Mumbai-based Kallz Entertainment, has launched broadband IP television channel. The test signals are on on Hinduja, Seven Star and Hathway.
The channel with a focus on the city life covers the hot happenings in Mumbai. Ctbuzz also showcases classified ads on TV, informs an official release.
The entire channel making process is a tapeless operation with high-end Digital servers utilized all along the process. The channel's technology partner is SPL Innotech, Singapore with offices in Mumbai.
The Digital feed from the studio goes out on a dedicated fiber backbone provided by Tata Power and reaches all operators for real time transmission. Also, all cable headends have been provided with servers or receiving stations to further redistribute these signals to all homes.
